About the role

Your mission

Accounting

• Processing purchase and sales invoices, bank transactions, and various journal entries
• Playing a key role in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes in accordance with BE GAAP, with knowledge of IFRS being a plus
• Monitoring and analysis of balance sheet positions and movements

Reporting & control

• Prepare periodic reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare statutory financial statements and audit files
• Perform reconciliations and balance sheet analyses

Process improvements

• Contribute to the optimization and standardization of financial processes
• Support the implementation of internal controls and accounting policies

Ad hoc support

• Support financial analyses and projects

• Respond to financial queries from the business

Your profile

Who we are looking for

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related field, complemented by at least three years of relevant professional experience.
• You have strong technical skills, including excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with SAP or another ERP system is considered an asset, as is a basic knowledge of IFRS.
• You have an interest in or experience with real estate and/or with private equity structures.
• You possess strong analytical skills and work with a high level of accuracy. You are proactive, eager to learn, and perform well in a team environment.
• Your strong communication skills enable you to contribute to smooth collaboration with colleagues.

• You are fluent in both Dutch and English, written as well as spoken.
